Grease is the Word was launched at the Bloomsbury Ballroom on 28th March 2007.

London is due to revive the west end show as is Broadway in new york. Previews at the Piccadilly Theatre will start on the 25th July 2007 with the official opening on 8th August 2007. Grease will take over from Guys and Dolls which closes on 14th April 2007.

London will join Broadway in welcoming a revival of Grease. Grease will begin previews at the West End’s Piccadilly Theatre on July 25th and open on August 8th. Grease will follow Guys and Dolls – which closes on April 14th – into the theatre.

The lead roles of sandy and Danny will be cast via itv reality tv show “grease is the word” the judges will be Sinitta, David Gest, Brian Friedman and David Ian.

The show is to be presented by Zoe Ball. The show starts on April 7th 2007 and will run for 10 weeks, when the roles will be cast in prepartion for the opening of Grease London.
